Each spring, Smart Beginnings Greater Richmond coordinates Regional Kindergarten Registration Day, which establishes one common registration day for 15 school divisions across Central Virginia. Participating school divisions include: the cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Petersburg, and Richmond, as well as the counties of Charles City, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, King William, New Kent, Powhatan, Prince George, and Sussex.
